General comments
er moet binnen 12-24 uur een pneumokokken-urineantigeentest verricht worden; indien positief versmal het antibiotische beleid zo gauw patiënt verbeterd is of er een microbiologische diagnose is.
er moet binnen 12-24 uur een Legionella-urineantigeentest verricht worden.
indien er recente (<1 jaar geleden) kolonisatie van de luchtwegen is met Pseudomonas empirisch beleid aanpassen aan bekende resistentie.
indien er recente (<1 jaar geleden) kolonisatie is met ESBL: empirisch beleid daarop aanpassen.
bij goede klinische respons behandelduur 5 dagen.

Start medicatie z.s.m. op de SEH, daarna over op IC protocol
Hydrocortison volgens schema ICU. Niet bij aspiratie of influenza
