General comments
In overleg met de infectioloog, arts-microbioloog en cardioloog (E-team).
Vervolgkweken afnemen 48 uur na start antibiotica.
Bij natieve klep endocarditis waarbij de klep wordt vervangen, blijft het regime voor natieve klep endocarditis gelden. De duur wordt gerekend vanaf de 1e negatieve bloedkweek; indien er klepchirurgie plaatsvindt en de peroperatieve klepkweken positief zijn, wordt de duur geteld vanaf de dag van OK.
Amoxicilline bij voorkeur continu per 24 uur toedienen, voorafgegaan door een oplaaddosering.
