General comments
Bij contra indicatie voor behandeling met co-trimoxazol: oraal behandelen met amoxicilline-clavulanzuur 625 mg 3dd 10 dagen
Behandelduur na operatie: 2 dagen postoperatieve (intraveneuze) antibiotica bij complexe appendicitis is niet minder effectief dan 5 dagen. Behandel alleen kritiek zieke patiënten 5 dagen postoperatief.
