General comments
Behandeling iom orthopedie en arts-microbioloog/ internist-infectioloog
Indien gentamicine langer dan 3 dagen wordt toegediend, spiegelcontrole vanaf dag 2
Evt. switch naar oraal na 1 week intraveneuze therapie aan de hand van de kweekuitslagen en klinische verbetering
Bij verdenking gonococcen ook urogenitale kweken afnemen. Bij verdenking Lyme arthritis ook Borrelia serologie afnemen.
Vóór start therapie diagnostische punctie:
- Leukocyten telling (HKCL)
- Kristallen (PA-lab)
- Gram-preparaat en kweek (MMI)
