General comments
Matig ernstige gedissemineerde histoplasmose alleen behandelen met consolidatietherapie.
Bij histoplasma-meningitis dosering liposomaal Amfo-B 5 mg/kg
Diagnose middels antigeendetectie in bloed, urine of BAL; cytologie/histologie; schimmelkweek.
Controleer plasmaspiegel itraconazol
Stop secundaire profylaxe als CD4 >150 en HIV ondetecteerbaar gedurende 6 maanden.
