General comments
Leverabces >5 cm primair draineren; zo mogelijk altijd aanprikken (bij voorkeur voor start antibiotica) voor kweek.
Behandelduur 14 dagen iv, vervolgens switch naar orale therapie, mede afhankelijk van de kweek. Totale behandelduur 6 weken. Metronidazol niet langer dan 14 dagen toedienen.
